Personal stretching coach for both athletes and everyday people
I am certified with the UHP (Ultimate Human Performance) Method. I teach people how to eliminate pain and injuries with advanced stretching and training techniques. People will have increased range of motion, have better posture, feel better, and greatly reduce their risk of injury if they adhere to these strict methods. This is different from other methods of stretching because this is stretching to a standard. These are the same stretching methods that are used by the Navy seals to stay in fighting shape… including one very famous navy seal named David Goggins!
Countless people live with pain and nagging injuries. Most of these problems are caused by having tension in the muscles. Tension can be caused by a variety of factors some of them are, but not limited too: sitting too much, lack of flexibility, impacted injuries, and repetitive movements. As this muscle tension builds over time it can lead to a variety of issues. Some of these issues are but not limited to are headaches, tendinitis, back pain, herniated discs, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, knee pain, and shoulder pain. I help to eliminate the tension with the most advanced stretching techniques.
Whether you are an athlete or an everyday person the UHP method will help you to elevate your performance to the next level so long as you adhere to these simple yet strict protocols.
Services

Improved Circulation
Stretching improves circulation. Unlocking tight muscle fibers will increase blood flow to muscles that may have been deprived of the necessary blood flow for years. Make sure to rest and hydrate after a hard stretch session and notice how your overall feeling of well being improves.

Increased Range of Motion
As children we are born with natural flexibility. However as adults we do not keep this flexibility when we start playing sports, begin working, or going to school. Stretching allows our body to return to the natural state flexibility that we were born with.

Improved Posture
Nearly all of us have poor posture from looking down at our smartphones, sitting for long periods of time at work, and from repetitive movements. Stretching helps to restore our body’s natural flexibility so that our muscles and joints can freely move the way that they are supposed to.

Pain Relief
Most of the time (but not all of the time) before a problem occurs the body begins feeling stiff or tight. The feels of stiffness or tightness are precursors to pain. They are your body telling you that you need to stretch or else problems will arise. They might not happen right away, but at some point problems will arise.

Preventing Injury
Most people who have a feeling of being stiff or a feeling of being tight shrug it off as a sign of getting old and that they aren’t able to do anything about it. That is simple not true. When a muscle or joint is feeling stiff or tight that is a sign from the body that there is a problem and that it needs to be addressed.

For All Ages
Stretching can be done at any age. The methods are adaptable for all ages and no matter how tight you are.
About
Meet the Trainer
Hi there! My name is Dan Cullen. Starting at the age of 10 I began training in the sport of fencing! I loved it! In my early 20s I was nationally ranked and I got invited to the US national championships 2 years in a row! Unfortunately though due to injuries and the feeling of being burnt out, I retired from fencing at the age of 24. I wish had learned of these stretching methods sooner. They would have fixed all of my nagging pains. My interests since then have been in ultra marathons and natural bodybuilding!

Testimonials
I knew that I needed to stretch. I understood the benefits, but convinced myself it wasn't that important- I could still move, so that was enough for now. I mentioned to Dan that I struggled with carpal tunnel. We focused a stretching session on my fingers, hands, and arms. I quickly realized that I had been accustomed to discomfort- my relief was immediate. The pain did not rush back to my hands after returning to the keyboard, and I learned how to alleviate my pain when it flares up. We have since expanded to target other pains that I knew of (and hoped that ignoring would fix). I cannot thank or recommend Dan enough!

I used to be a non-believer in stretching, but Dan completely changed my perspective. He has helped me address persistent issues like shoulder pain, calf tightness, back discomfort, and even headaches. Thanks to his targeted approach, my aches and sore muscles have been significantly relieved. Every session is focused, effective, and leaves me feeling better than ever. If you're dealing with pain or just want to feel your best, Dan is the one to trust!

Working in a hospital and drinking a lot of caffeine, I’m prone to headaches and pretty bad back problems. Once I told Dan about it, he pin pointed the areas that bothered me on my back, applied the best pressure and stretching moves, and my back problems began to go away! I felt like I could move better and my body wasn’t as stiff. And he taught me what to do at home when the headaches hit, so I put it to use pretty often! I recommend stretching with Dan! You’ll feel better and get some relaxation too!

I was having issues with carpal tunnel syndrome and considering having surgery to correct the problem. I worked with Dan and he showed me different stretches to help reduce the pain and numbness I was feeling. All my symptoms have gone away since working with him and I am no longer looking at having surgery.
